2 simple changes to add spin to your budge

Welcome to Play Smart, a regular column for Golf.com.
Your Wedges are your scoring clubs. When you have one in your hand from the fairway, you should be thinking about birdie. And when you have to hold a wedge reed, it’s all about getting up-and-down par. If you increase your conversion rate in both of these situations, you will quickly see your scores go down.
But despite how important wedges are to getting low scores, many recreational golfers have no clue of the correct technique for hitting them. When hitting the range, it’s all about getting it out and ripping it – considering the short clubs.
This can be attributed to practice times often leading to bad habits, and with them, higher scores. But if you know what mistakes to avoid, hitting Crisp Wedges becomes a lot easier.
In the video below, Dr. Greg Woke up from the financial center shares some of the biggest mistakes he often sees recreational golfers make with their swings that slow down the spin. Get them right and you’ll hit the shot with more spin in no time.
Every golfer wants to be able to return their ball like a Tour player, but does not understand how to do the physics that you like.
Two of the biggest mistakes we see amateurs make are mock weddings and lowering the club at the source.

2 ways to add spin
Wedges improve goals because they can reach hard areas of the finish, allowing you to put the ball closer to the holes. That’s thanks to how productive he is.
When you can put spin with a wedge, you can hit it high and lower it. Also, you can stop the ball on a dime when the situation pays for it. Simply put, knowing how to properly SPING on the ball can unlock your scoring ability.
Putting spin on the ball is achieved in two ways. The first is speed at impact (ie clubhead speed) and the other is spin loft, which is the difference between the angle of attack and the loft of the clubface at impact.
1. Be quick with impact
The first mistake golfers make when trying to create speed is backsliding through impact. This usually happens because they take too long of a backswing with the shot they are trying to hit, so they slow down the impact to continue flying the flag. If you really want to create spin, you should start by doing a little backing and speed up with impact.
“For Wedges, if you want the ball to go backwards, I need a lower speed,” Rose said. “Be sure to loosen up and increase your club speed.”
2. Increase Spin Loft
Some mistakes golfers make when trying to generate spin is not making enough spin yoft. As explained above, spin loft is the difference between your angle of attack and ClubApp’s loft.
Feeling like you’re hitting the ball down is a great way to find the right angle of attack to create spin. However, where many recreational players go wrong is that when they do this, they close the CLUBApp and De-Rooft the club.
“The key here is to feel like you’re going down, but make sure you’re adding to the ceiling,” Rose said. “If you look at the great wedge players, not only do they create an angle of attack down the floor, [but] the face is open again. “
