Golf is not just my job, it’s my passion. If I’m not watching and writing about golf, there’s a good chance I’m in the simulator or on the course.
This may seem like something that my job description takes for granted, but being a golfer in New York City is not an easy job. Despite taking buses, trains and rental cars to the course, I still make it a point to play 40-50 rounds a year. I’d like this number to be higher, but as a city golfer, that’s pretty dang good.
One of the benefits of being an Avid golfer (in addition to an Avid Golf Watcher) is that I understand our readers. When I see someone taking the habit of exchanging their umbrella in the subway, I can’t help but crack a smile. Sick golfers are everywhere – and I love seeing them.
