But Gannon-doak turned home his first Scotland goal from John McGINGN’s Log Cross and Christie headed home Robertson’s delivery to Andrew Robertson to reignite the continued development issues sorted.
Bakasetas was sent off for a second yellow for elbowing Lewis Ferguson in the stomach, but Scotland failed to take advantage, with Odysses VlachoDos producing a stunning save with his legs to dislodge McCominay’s leg.
Blachodimos was not seriously tested following that opportunity, but Belarus’ decision to hang in Copenhagen means Scotland could yet qualify for a historic success.
