New York Giants 20-27 Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers moved to 6-3-1 with Navy’s win over the New York Giants. It was a tougher day than it should have been for the love of Jordan and M Khaphi but they got the job done along the way.
Love himself endured a tricky afternoon, leaving the game briefly with a shoulder injury. But he still managed 173 yards passing and went 13-of-24, including two rushing touchdowns.
The win ended a two pack losing streak. For the Giants, however, their hitless streak reached five in a row. Interim head coach Mike Kafka reluctantly gave it his chance, but it wasn’t enough for the day.
Tennessee titans 13-16 Houston Texans
Broadcast heart titans. After a brilliant showing against the Texans, they fell on the last field goal despite a good showing.
Cam Ward completed 24 of 37 passes on the day, usually finding end Chig Okomwo, who made a three-yard catch, including a 39-yard reception to put the Titans in the red on the final drive.
But despite scoring late, the Titans chose to go with just one point instead of two to lead, giving the Texans plenty of steps down the other end of the field and points.
Atlanta Falcons 27-30 Parolina Panthers
The panthers went to a huge overtime expense after coming from 21-10 down against the Falcons.
Atlanta Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. missed the game with a knee injury in the third quarter, and his side scored the tying field goal for the rest of the game. For the Panthers, junior Bryce passed for 448 yards and three touchdowns.
With the loss, it seems likely that the Falcons will miss the Play-offs, temporarily for the year.
Minnesota Vikings 17-19 Chicago Bears
It looked like JJ McCarthy was going to upset Chicago in possession again after he threw a touchdown pass in the final minutes of the memorial.
But the visitors’ return team put in an amazing effort, returning the kick that leads to Vikings Place.
It allowed Cairo Santos to make the final field goal, moving the Bears up to a 7-3 record on the season and giving the Vikings a 4-6 record.
Jacksonville jaguars 35-6 Los Angeles Chargers
The Jaguars stunned the Chargers to move to 6-4 on an unusual day for quarterback Herbert. He doesn’t miss the Star prices of the names of the stars, he took a lot of this game into his own hands, trying to run into danger and take more hits.
And when the Chargers tried to run the ball, they met stiff resistance. Keenan Allen was the leading receiver, with only 44 yards.
Cameron Dicker was the man chosen to put the charts only points on the board, making both of his field goals. On the other side of things, Trevor Lawrence had a field day, dominating the passing game and earning plenty of praise from his teammates.
Buffalo Bills 44-32 Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Josh Allen silenced many of his critics with a commanding performance in a shutout win over the Buccaneers. The QB put up six touchdowns, three passes and three rushes, recording less than 360 yards against the Tampa Defense.
He became the first player in NFL history to record 3+ rushing yards and 3+ passing yards in multiple career games, also doing so against the Rams last season.
On top of that, Allen also tied Cam Newton for the fastest touchdowns by a quarterback in the regular season, taking his pace to 75 as the pace matched the pressure on the new England division in their division.
Pittsburgh Steelers 34-12 Cincinnati Bengals
Pittsburgh threesh defense
The Steelers forced two turnovers against quarterback Joe Flacco, with Kyle Dugger picking up 74-six carries and James Pierre converting a 32-yard fumble.
While the Bengals were still able to gain more than 100 rushing yards, Brown’s dominant rushing performance was not rewarded, even with Aaron Rodger and Jaylen Warren picking up injuries.
