Eighteen countries are drawn into six groups of three

The best tennis players were hoping for a blockbuster match for the fourth edition of the United Cup, a mixed team event in Perth and Sydney from Friday January 2026.

Eighteen countries were drawn in six groups of three in the official draw today.

Icons of the game, Wally Masur and Jelena Dokic were on hand to continue the case, while Casey Dellacqua and Matt Ebden went to the United Cudd Draw event in Perth.

Defending Champions Team USA and the top seed of Headline Group A will also return to Perth in 2026. It is led by World No.3 Coco Gauff and World No.6 Taylor Fritz, in Igaratina in the group stage.

The third seed in Italy, guided by the world No.8 and 2024 Roland Garros and Wimbledon Finalist Jasmine Paolini and Statit Stavio COBOLI AND World Stan Wawrinka and World No.11 Belinda Bencic in group C.

GROUP D will feature Australia led by World No.7 Alex de Minaur and the nation’s top new woman, world No.32 Maya. Team Czechia and Casper Ruud Norway complete the team.

The United Cup 2024 Champions Team Germany, led by the world No.3 Alexander Zveree and Debandent Eva Lys will star in group F, alongside Poland’s world no.2 Iga SwayK and the team Netherlands.

United Cup Courder Director Stephen Farrow said the 2026 draw will see some of the biggest names in tennis playing in the United Cup this summer.

“We are very proud of this competition for what it is supposed to celebrate, the fact that our biggest tennis game is played by so many amazing athletes, both women,” said Farrow.

“Bringing those athletes together to play and not big points and prizes just money or their country and country pride is what makes this competition so special.

“It’s a tough and exciting atmosphere and loads of fans will be watching. Some of the best players in the world, who are really involved and want to win there on the court in Perth and Sydney. We have a lot to look forward to in January.”

The Minister of Tourism of Western Australia The Hon. Reece Whitby MLA said: “We are delighted to welcome a talented line-up of tennis teams to Western Australia.

“Events such as the United Cup build on WA’s status as a premier destination for major sporting events, to see our top-class city center in the best of summer.

“Back for the fourth year, the United Cup is a great event that forms part of our economic diversification strategy to draw visitors to our state and inject millions of valuable tourism dollars that provide a boost to local businesses.”

UNSW NKROUNTI of sports and the Minister of Sports and Tourism Steve Kamper added, “as the Host City of Tourney’s Mallget, which offers fans the most anticipated summer of the best tennis players in the world.

“Ken RoaRowall Arena’s electric atmosphere has been created by passionate fans from all over the world for a unique experience that will once again showcase Sydney as one of the world’s great stages.”

The tournament schedule will be released tomorrow, Tuesday 18 November. Group category tickets will go on sale from 12,00pm local time on Wednesday 19 November in Perth and Sydney. Senior tickets start from $40 and from $20 for children from 3 to 12 years old.
