As we wind down Pro Golf’s Offsoason, two amateur golf stories have dominated the game for the past month. First, the happy golf fans of the Internet are reveling in the organized kindness of its opening schedule. Second, Wnba Supertars Caitlin Clark and YouTube Star Kai Trump widened the golf audience at the LPGA event.
Now the two viral stories seem to be on a collision course.
According to Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, he asked both Clark and Trump to play in the next Internet World. And they both said yes.

When the first episode of the most anticipated invitation on the Internet went live, it quickly married the border with golf fans. And the audience seemed to go far beyond the large base of YouTube Golf Devotees.
With every six episodes and 16 hours, 48 Golfers of various different skills put on display, compete in an innovative format and have racked up tens of millions of views so far.
Meanwhile, two weeks ago the Annaka LPGA event similarly conveyed the general LPGA audience with the help of Clark and Trump. Clark, one of the most famous athletes in the world, played Pro-AM, bringing the Indiana Fevermates to participate.
And as always, wherever Curk goes, big audiences follow. They were also boosted by Trump’s own appearance, not at the Pro-Am, but at the actual event. This 16-year-old and famous man, who is the grandson of President Donald Trump, made it to LPGA DUT in Anika. And even though he missed the cut, Trump similarly drove a lot of interest in the event and in women’s golf in general.
Which brings us back to the Internet of Things. Despite its massive success, promoters like Portnoy hope the upcoming show has a bigger impact.
And like the WNBA’s WNBA and Caitlin Clark, portnoy thought of one simple way to do that.

Portnoy, the brain behind the Internet, appeared as the Barstool show of the “unspeakable show” on Thursday, and he quickly made it clear that he intends to be a popular event to be the story of the year.
Then he came up with his big idea to take the competition to the next level: Invite Clark and Trump to play. Surprisingly, Portnoy revealed that “they both said yes,” but he made it clear that it’s not a sure thing yet, given the schedules of Crark and Truck.

“I’ve invited two people so far, and they’ve both said yes,” Portnoy said. “I don’t know how bad yeses are. Caitlin [Clark] he said yes; Kai Trump said yes. Those are the two I requested. That, push comes to shove, and those two find and make it, who knows? “
He also revealed another big idea that he has about the next generation of the Internet. He wants the prize pool to skyrocket from $1 million to $10 million. And he hopes the success of the grand opening will help attract new sponsors who can make that vision a reality.
“I would like to make a pool of $ 10 million in the next year. See, I think it will be very easy to get money, sponsors, all this stuff,” explained the source. “We proved it. Year 2 to really prove it, then you get something.”
