Sharks defeat Kings 4-3 in Shootout – Hockey Writers – San Jose Sharks

The Los Angeles Kings (10-6-5) travel to Northern California to take on their Pacific Division rival, the San Jose Sharks (10-8-3) at SAP Center. The visit is the second-to-last stop on their last round trip in November before the team travels to Anaheim next week.

It was a special night in San Jose as the Sharks organization honored former star and Captain Joe Thornton with his induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame. A lovely ceremony was held, and the owner of the largest Mbhevot was revealed while his family watched his special things with him. Theron retired in October 2023; However, he was celebrated tonight for his latest admission.

At ICE, Yaroslav Askarov guarded his home net while Gong’ GoalTender Anton Forsberg looked around his crease as he prepared for the puck to drop. Lubuni promised to be a great and competitive magician.

He “rolled” as they battled to get in first. Fortunately for them, the first goal of the night was scored by Shark center Adam Gaudette, 2:33 into the game. Wrist Shot NetMinder Forsberg trembled as they put the kings on the first hole.

The Kings tried to bite back and tie the game as they became distracted and frustrated. It wasn’t until late, at the 3:56 mark, that Joel Armia scored a full goal to tie the game 1-1. The luck didn’t last long for Los Angeles as the Sharks claimed the Sharks came back with 10 seconds left on the clock. Ty Dellandrea sends a deflated shot past Forsberg as both teams look to go in, with San Jose on top.

Kings bite back

After much, the second season opened with fury and dominance from the sharks and kings as they fought tooth and nail. The Kings tried to get a few shots past Askarov’s net, but alas, the Russian netminder was as tall as a brick wall. It wasn’t until Captain ‘Captain’ Captain Onže Kopitar got face to face with Dellandrea and scored a smooth goal at the 18:13 mark.

The Kings, hungry for more, continued to shoot, sending shots followed by Kopitar, Warren Foethele, and Alex Laefere, but the 6-foot-3 Haljender blocked the opportunity each time. However, the pressure was too much for the kings when, with 2:57 remaining, Philipp Kurashev presented a wrist shot to Forsberg. The battle continued with a 3-2 lead from the Sharks.

Sharks up in one (again)

In the last 20, both Rivals remained strong as they fought all over the ice. San Jose’s Mario Ferraro and the Kings’ Alex Turcotte were both given two-minute minor penalties for rolling after a heated exchange. Aside from looking and wrapping, not much action happens until the last minute. Adrian Kempe ended up tying the game and sending the Kings into overtime as the Sharks fans were tied for the game win. An extra frame passed without a game-winning goal, and two points were put on the line in the pressure of the corpse.
