This internal encounter revealed a hidden weakness in my game

The offseason doesn’t have to be a stretch where your clubs gather dust and your game slides into hibernation. In fact, some of the most valuable information you’ll ever get about your inclinations — even your equipment — can happen when you’re not on an incline at all. I was reminded of this recently when I decided – more out of curiosity than anything else – to run through an indoor meeting focused on my tall walls.
I’ve played long enough to trust my patterns…or at least mine a thought it’s been I’ve always believed that my long fakes were strong, but I wanted to make sure they were still the right tools for the job. So I’m setting up the Complete Swing Kit Indoor Bay to get a clear, honest look at what those clubs really do.
After a short warm-up, reality set in. My actual distances don’t match the meters I’m playing. My 5 Iron – The club I depend on for those 175 shares Not consistently, though. The combination revealed a noticeable gap between my best turns and my averages, something that is easy to overlook on a course where adrenaline or luck can be irresistibly driven.
The dispersal told a more interesting story. Shot after shot, a pattern emerged: A strong, predictable FADE with my 6-iron, 5-iron and even my hybrid. Then I got to my 3rd wood, and that texture disappeared. It wasn’t exactly great, but it helped explain why the long ways always felt a little more like you on the course.
The real breakthrough came with grinding. I thought this issue would be between my irons and my hybrid, but those numbers were blown. The real problem was the gulf between my hybrid and fairway Wood – a gap wide enough to disrupt my strategy and force poor decisions. To see that independence on the screen in Secrew Faval: Adjust my setup and fill that Yarda thing with a suitable hybrid or fairway wood.
The beauty of the season’s gathering. As an experienced player, I’m not trying to relive it. I immerse, confirm, and reveal things that I never knew during the time of normal distance. The quiet months give you space to do that work.
So if you think you know yourself well and I thought I know if I know mine, I spent an hour in a house with a startup monitor. You’d be surprised how much there is to learn.
