Explore luxury golf cruises on European waterways

It’s Danny and Alice Scott – travelers in love
Yes, cruises again, but how about a caledonia caledonia cruise, golf with your favorite things? It is the ultimate holiday with European waterways. Our classic outing without golf inside The spirit of Scotland August was one of our best. It was a year after a 17-day golf trip around Scotland, so we knew that more Scottish golf in our Barge experience would be the icing on the cake.
Canal Cruising
The canal ride is slow and smooth, the beautiful scenery is creative, the service is personable, and the cuisine is delicious – at least with our chef, Jim. From champagne welcomes with apps and petit 4s to three meals a day and more, Jim exceeds all expectations with his creative energy.
It symbolizes the scottish steamers, The The spirit of Scotland Is a hotel barge designed for an intimate, luxurious experience, welcoming 12 guests in six cabins, with air conditioning located under the main deck, each bathroom and three porsholes complete with a view of the attraction.
The Captain’s bridge sits fore and aft of the main deck, with open air passages that wrap around the ship. Seating and dining spaces are available, and the heated spa pool on the back deck is perfect for sunbathing with coffee.
A green staircase leads to the upper deck. Strike the iconic “Titanic” pose on the rails (for a very happy ending) or recreate as Higlands in Scotland’s past. Only by sailing can you truly understand the enormity of Loch Ness. SPACE is amazing, and the sense of peace is unmatched. Waterways in Europe are made of the art of reducing barge barge which is more than 40 years old and serves.
Golf options
Golf Cruises are private cruises available on most European cruise packages and include 3-4 tue offs. At least four passengers must play golf while non-playing guests are entertained in a variety of other ways (follow an authentic boat tour, explore on foot or bike as discussed, or pursue other interests as discussed in the booking).
Golf Cruises are available not only in the highlands of Scotland but in France, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany and Ireland. Golf Itineraries are customized based on course availability and proximity. Top of the list in Scotland are the Highlands cabins with the famous castle, and the old new courses above the Moray Firth. Traditional options would include Fortrose and Rosemarkie, Royal Dornoch or the beautiful Brora for a sea change. Whichever course you play, your nineteenth hole is waiting on the stream.
Caledonia Culture
Our classic walks include trips to Cawdor and Eleen Donan Castles, Calloden Battlefield, and Clava Cairns – inspired stones The place outside. There was a tour de force and a bird’s eye view of the looting in Fort Augustus with the Abbey backdrop. Every evening brought a cultural surprise. Playing dressed ian in ancient dress and hearing Alan, the kilt-enze bagpiper, explain the instrument, families and grandmother – “The job offer,” he quoted – was fun, light fun, while Sean and Hannah entertained us with jigs, reels and a dance lesson.

Travel Tips
Come for a day or two in the morning and enjoy a check-in or fly into Edinburgh and take the northbound express train as we do, to meet the staff. Pack Light but smart. Choose layers and colors that you like to mix and match. Comfortable leisure is worn with Transshier Transier Transier for food but leave the heels behind. Bring a Swimsuit for Jacuzzi, and make sure that clothes and slippers are waiting in the closet.
Emotional impact
We’ve been blessed to visit more than 100 places in our 17 years of covering travel, and this fun-filled, more adventure-packed trip came to be. Perhaps it was the development of many locks – a technological marvel that our father celebrated every year, taking my mother “forbidden” on a visit to the Eisenhower Locks. Or maybe it was sailing for hours across Loch Hess on the purple heather, passing castles with a cool breeze under high coats. It was meant for all the people we connected with along the way. For many reasons, it was the best!
