Chelsea finally go ahead with the third attempt after two goals disallowed in the first half against Barcelona

Chelsea had two early goals disallowed in the first half against Barcelona before finally taking the lead with a Jules Kounde own goal.

Having seen two Enzo Fernandez goals duly cleared, Chelsea finally went ahead when Marc Cucurella’s cross was bundled inside by Barca defender Kounde.

Despite a strong start against the Catalan giants, growing frustration was growing when we were denied twice the chance to continue, but three minutes after the title was awarded, the goal was finally allowed to stand.

Chelsea vs Barcelona: The Blues were denied twice and Torres missed a big chance

Enzo sent Stamford Bridge into disaster after just three minutes when he hit the ball after defender Wesley Fofana had found him inside the Catalan forward.

But those celebrations were brought to a halt when Slavko Vincic was shown to have spotted a foul ball when he delivered the ball before finding the byline.

The defender controlled the ball with his chest before extending his upper arm, which took him to the Barca defender.

After thinking they had scored earlier, Chelsea were inches away from going behind moments later when Ferran Torres found himself with acres of space inside the box with Robert Sanchez.

But instead of finding the net, Barcelona’s Top Scorer’s Twest at the time was put the ball wide by a good-looking Sanchez.

Chelsea’s good start continued as they continued to get the better of Barca’s top line and were again denied the chance to go ahead when Enzo thought he had scored on 24 minutes.

A free kick from the left side was attacked and eventually went to Argentina, but Trevoh Chaloba was on his side when he took a small touch on his way to the goal.

They were not to be given away however when they finally found the net when Cucurella avoided the flag held before finding his feet in time as the ball bounced off the line.
