A change of direction is required by some clubs

Host: “Do you think we’re starting to see Calgary, Vancouver, St. Louis and Nashville sell out?”
NHL Rumors: What is the direction of the Calgary Flames?
Anthony Didarco: “I think St. Louis and Calgary 100%. Vancouver is probably the most organized organization in the NHL because of their team, but they have to sell.
Nashville is amazing. I mean, Barry Trotz, who was the best coach in the NHL, has become arguably the best coach in the NHL. That the creation of ROSTS is absolutely crazy, and you just have to hit that thing in Nashville.
I do some of their pieces, especially the way they wrote them. I think they did a good job in Milwaukee of the AHL, but actually I think you have some pieces there in the forwards that will be attractive, if you are willing to keep and maybe you are willing to be a player of two million for the next two years. So I hope Nashville sees the forest for the trees, but I highly doubt it, because of how committed they are to winning here and now. “

However, the ownership of the Flames, and perhaps a disagreement without direction within the Labor Committee in Calgary, will prevent them from selling. Are Craig Conroy and Don Maloney on the same page? The Vancouver Canucks recently said they want to trade veteran Ufa players to get younger players. Nashville is always there, but St. Louis needs to move the players. The prices are high, and these trade rumors are more of a threat than anything.

Dimarco: “Ryan O’reilly, I think it would be one of the biggest pieces available. Like, exactly the centers of the second line, but since you have Schenn from Montreal, then you put in Schenn O’reilly.
NHL Rumors: Nashville Raiders and Steven Stamkos
I mean, it’s not the best choice, but I think Ryan O’reilly comes up with those kind of conversations. All three have won Stanley Cups, but there’s just something about Ryan O’reilly I think, so he can bring more in the way of intangibles than others.
I also love brayden’s schenn. Nazem Kadri certainly serves a role, but I think Ryan O’reilly, if available, is mainly for the cap hit. Kadri is $7 million I believe-brayden schenn in six. Ryan O’reilly, I think his cap is $4.5 million.
So I think if they are willing to make Ryan O’reilly available, he will be a very desirable center on the trade market. “
