Inter Miami and MLS Golden Boot Winner Lionel Messi are the most high-profile participants in the 2025, mls playoffs, finishing third in the Eastern Conference.

The 30th edition of the post-season tournament featured 18 teams hoping to win the MLS Cup across more than a month.

“We have some of the greatest players to ever play this game,” Miami defender Ian Fray said after the regular season ended. “Whoever plays, we’ll have the same mindset.”

Here’s all the information you need to know about the 2025 MLS playoffs, including the schedule, bracket and how to watch.

2025 PlayOffs: MLS Schedule, Dates, Fixtures

The post-season competition started on October 22 and will run until December 6 2025. The regular season ended on October 18.

The top nine teams from the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference competed in the games, which began with an Off-off Off off off one card match between the eight and ninety teams placed in the buildings.

The winners of those games join the other teams in three first-round games, followed by semi-finals and finals in each conference and one MLS Cup game between the eventual winners.

The teams that finish the top game at home or play the first and, if necessary, the third match at home in a best-of-three book series.

MLS Cup 2025: Lionel Messi, Inter Miami Fixtures

Miami hosted Nashville, who completed a 5-2 doubleheader away from the last day of the regular season, in the first round, winning between the teams 4-0 with the help of two MERI goals.

Messi scores again as they beat Cincinnati 4-0 in the semifinals. They had their own kind adjustment in terms of status, taking the city of New York placed in Newth at the conference.

Messi and his teammates came out of their first Playoff last season, when they were first placed as the winners of the ninth Atlanta but were kicked out by Atlanta United without winning the opening game between the teams.
