Liverpool could look to replace Federico Chiesa with Antoine Semengeo in the winter transfer window.

Federico Chiesha’s future has become a major talking point in recent weeks. While he started the full season, the Italy international has yet to get regular game time at Finfield. Because of this, many top clubs are interested in signing the former Juventus star.

Liverpool could sell Federimo Chiesa

According to Pete O’Rourke of Football Insider, Liverpool could look to cash in on the 28-year-old’s growing interest from Serie A clubs. However, the Reds will only be accepted for their departure once they have secured a replacement. They have their eyes set on Antoine Semendoememouth’s Antoine Semendo to take his place in the team.

Chiesa had the chance to leave the Merseyside club in the summer after a disappointing season last time out. However, he chose to stay at the club in the hope of fighting for a prominent role under the Arne slot.

While he had a few promising performances earlier this season, he has been on the Dutch Manager’s team sheet. He has had just 380 minutes of first-team action in his 14 outings in all competitions.

Despite the initial promise, he is not an integral part of the Slot team. With many Italian clubs interested in their homeland, Liverpool could look to cash in on him in the upcoming transfer window.

When talking about Chiesa’s future at Liverpool, O’Rourke said: “He’s been used a lot this season, but he was a frame player coming off the bench, he just started in the EFL cup.”

“It seems that he is not trusted by ARNE SLOT to run in the team despite some fans who want Chiya to go and see if he can be renewed with his benefits.”

“I can only see Chiesa leaving if Liverpool were to bring in another replacement and if they follow with their enthusiasm in Antoine Semenko, maybe that would open the door for Chiya’s departure.”

Italian clubs could be knocking on Liverpool’s door to try and sign the 28-year-old. While he was happy at Anfield, he could certainly look for a move, as it would help him get a better case for a place in Italy’s World Cup squad.

Liverpool could consider selling him for the right price, as he is not a key part of their plans. But that will only happen if they can secure a good replacement in the upcoming transfer window.

The Reds have had their eye on Semenyyo, and it will be interesting to see if they renew their pursuit of the Bournemouth star. Given his track record in the Premier League, he could be a sensational signing case.
