PSG dominance in top five

Paris-Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembélé is enjoying the best season of his career to date. He has already won Ligue 1, will play in the Champions League final this weekend, and has just won the Transfermarkt Ligue 1 Player of the season, after storming the vote. Over 62% of your votes for the Player of the season in the French top-flight came for the 28-year-old forward. Playing in a more central role, Dembélé has scored 21 goals and provided eight assists in 29 Ligue 1 games, as well as providing 12 goal contributions in 14 Champions League matches.
All of the top five were PSG player’s as the league winners dominated proceedings. In second place in the overall vote was goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma with 7.2%. He was followed by young winger Désiré Doué with 5.5%, with right-back Achraf Hakimi fourth with 5.3%, and midfielder Vitinha completing the top five with 4.4%. While Dembélé was voted for the most in the attacker category, Vitinha won the midfielder vote, Hakimi won the defender vote, and Donnarumma won the goalkeeper vote.
The other winners in the top-five leagues were Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah in the Premier League, Inter Milan keeper Yann Sommer in Serie A, Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane in the Bundesliga, and Barcelona teenager Lamine Yamal in LaLiga.
