“The Design Brief started with a clear goal: to deliver high performance in the wind without sacrificing spin around the greens,” said Matt Neeley, VP of research and development. “The better players are increasingly looking for resilience and adaptability to challenging situations, and we set out to address that.”
The Exotic Golf Ball underwent a rigorous testing process on all prototypes to ensure tour-level performance at all stages of the game, which helped identify the necessary construction, pressure and pitch pattern. Testing includes advanced robot analysis, complete player testing across the Mid-Handicap Spectrum, and valuable input from professional staff members.
Dimple pattern and performance
An advanced 318-dimple pattern maximizes aerodynamics and consistency, delivering the optimized trajectory, Tour-Level Spin, and flight control players seek. Testing ensures high levels of spin and angles from industry leaders.
Feel unique and Spin-Game Spin
The fast, soft ionomer mantle improves the control of the approach shot, while the ultra-thin undethane cover offers a unique and short spin game feel for crisp scores.
