Nov. 12 – Philadelphia Flyers

One season after finishing last in the Eastern Conference standings, the Flyers have been surprisingly competitive so far in 2025-26. With a record of 8-5-2 through 15 games, they currently hold the playoff wild card position.

Nov. 13 – Columbus Blue Jackets

The NHL’s schedule makers work in a mysterious way: Edmonton and Columbus have just two games to play in 2025-26, and both come within three days.

Columbus will certainly be a shot team, seeking revenge for its loss on Monday in Rogers Area, where the blue jackets led by 1-0, 3-1 were able to tie odeli and give the power to tie the game during the final regulation.

The Oilers are 3-6-0 nationally during the Connor McDavid ERA. Edmonton has lost four straight games to Ohio State, including a 6-1 loss at the hands of the Blue Jackets last season.

Nov. 15 – Carolina Hurricanes

The perennial powerhouse Carolina Hurricanes are looking for every little thing Stanley Conf Resonder again in 2025-26. With a record of 11-5-0, Carolina is tied for the best winning percentage in the NHL. They also boast the Eastern Conference’s conference goal differential, with 14 in 16 games.

Back in March, the Oilers beat Carolina by a score of 3-1 at the Lenovo Center to pick up their first road win over the Hurricanes in more than five years.

Notably, this is only for the Oilers ’20th It is the regular season game in Raleigh since the Hurricanes moved to Hartford in 1997. In those 19 previous contests, Edmonton has six wins, 11 losses and two ties, while being outscored by 662.

Nov. 17 – Buffalo Sabres

The easiest game in Edmonton’s trip – at least in terms of standing – will come in the middle of the season, when the Oilers visit the Buffalo Sabers, who live below the Buffalo Sabers, with 14 points from a record of 5-6-4.

The last twelve games between the oilers and the sabers at the keybank center have been decided by one goal, and the other two have ended with scores of 3-1 with the winning team receiving an empty goal. Edmonton was beaten 3-2 by the Sabers in Buffalo on March 10 of this year.

This will be the sabers first home game in over 10 days. Buffalo is currently on a 4-game road trip, which began with a loss to the Hurricanes on Saturday (Nov. 8).

Nov. 19 – Washington Capitals

Edmonton fans will remember the oil tour of the Capital One Arena in late November two years ago as the change of the team’s era. Coming into that game with a 5-12-1 record and a three-game hitting streak, Edmonton blanked the Capitals 5-0, starting a franchise-best streak.

The Oilers lost two of their meetings last season, going 7-3 on the road and 3-2 at home.

Nov. 20 – Tampa Bay Lightning

The home team is in charge of the games between oiled and lightning, winning their 20 meetings. Since 2009, Edmonton is 1-10-1 at Betchmark International Arena, and nine of those 10 games have been scored by at least two goals.

After a slow start this season, the Lightning have been red-hot, winning seven of their last eight. Edmonton’s most recent stop in Edmonton came on February 25, when the Oilers took their first 1-0 lead on the first day on a goal from Leon Draisiatl, but then gave up four unanswered goals and ended up losing 4-1.

McDavid has seven multi-pointers and 12 shutouts over 14 games against Tampa Bay.

Nov. 22 – Florida Panthers

There could be no greater way to cap off a seven-game road trip than Saturday night’s clinching game in one of the NHL’s final championship series against another in the Stanley Cup Finals.

Edmonton fans would like to forget about those proceedings at Amerant Bank Arena. It’s a rare thing going well for the Oilers, who are 2-5 over the last two drafts and 3-7 in their last regular season sunrise game.

With 17 points through 16 games, Florida hasn’t had much in the way this season, either. Like Edmonton, the Panthers currently sit in sixth place in their division. They have been a force at home, however, going 5-1-1 at Amerant Bank Arena.

The Oilers are 2-5-2 away from Rogers Beka so far this season. All things considered, if they can’t score eight or more points in their next seven games, Edmonton will have to be happy.
