A solid stuffed calf Felix auger-aliassime his turtle.
Today, auger-aliassime climbs in service, whiplash hits and a strong closing kick to keep his turin hopes alive.
Opening a flurry of before, the auger-aliassime broke in the last game hitting Ben Shelton 4-6, 7-6 (7), 7-5 to level his ATP Round-Romin Ride record at 1-1 in the Bjorn Borg Group.
In a period of meditation, the auger-alissime sometimes closes its eyes briefly before retreating like an arrangement in an inner museum. After winning the explosive battle, the auger-aliassime exploded in the declaration of success after winning his 20th deciding set of the year and the first of the Turin Trumh from the top of Tural from the 2022 ATP Finals.
“There’s a lot at stake today; it’s kind of the firepower of the day,” Auger-Aliassime told Tennis Channel’s Prakash Amritraj in his interview in court. “Inside the house he knows what he knows, he’s won tournaments in this kind of top places. So I knew that I expected to be pressed under pressure, always always under pressure.
“When it came down to the last few points, I was just trying to make the right food at the right time. If the games were going and I wasn’t getting emotional, I would rest and focus on my catch.”
Auger-AliasShime worked 80 percent, accord-anced the throne-9 to 7 – and won the second point of the second hour in the second hour, a 25-minute test.
World No. 2 Jannik Sinner, who won his open auger-aliassime, can defend the time zone if he defeats the hero of the previous time of Alexander Zverin in the concept of two-time Robin. Auger-AliasShime raised its 2025 record to 49-23, including 16-4 at home.
ATP Finals Delivel Shelton fought hard, saved five of seven break points, including five of five in the decider, and came up with some key volley points.
Finally, auger-aliassime played with more engagement and purpose at pivotal points. Down in the tip-off, Shelton continued to look closely at Canada’s powerful wing and produced a pull-down shot to face the second game point. Maybe Shelton was trying to open the court attacking the auger-aliases that represent him to protect his weak wing, but protect his income with the skin where he has been advised, attack his front lump with confidence.
It all adds up to a hard-fought victory that keeps auger-aliassime’s Seentiles alive before his final Robin game against zveree. At the US Open in September, Auger-Aliassime knocked out the top three seeds in a row—zverev, and Alex de Minaur—for his second fiery Meadows Semifinal where he fell to the sin in four sets.
Since debuting in August, auger-aliassime is 19-3 in the playoffs and has reached the quarterfinals or better in six straight tournaments, including the brussels and rolex paris masters. Canada Credits Clarity-Reflection – For His Surgery Season.
“Obviously, a lot of breathing, meditation, trying to just stay as cool as possible under pressure,” auger-alias. “And just be clear-eyed. You know, I think we’re all human and I think you’re kind of blindingly aware of certain points where emotions come in. If you can stay there you’re playing well.
“I was able to do that sometimes. It doesn’t always go your way but at least you don’t have any regrets. If I can do it well with my game plan, then I leave the courts with no regrets.”
With the wrangling of forceful servers, the first breaks are used to greatly appreciate the men.
Unleashing beat the US Open Semifinalist in the fourth game. Auger-AliasShime led 30-Love when she broke three straight errors, including a routine volley into the net from the top. Shelton is the break point. The lefty fired the front man down the line breaking 3-1 with a strong “Come on!”
Shelton scored eight straight points to build a 4-1 lead.
Serving for the set, the fifth seed tried to attack – including serve – and submit twice with the second serve – but some poor volleys put him in the hole for double points. Shelton didn’t do enough with a short volley and auger-aliassime put in a back-to-back pass at the ninth hole.
After serving in the 10th game, Canada split his good fortune with a double fault and may advance wrapped up with a Shelton Backhand Winner. That sequence places the auger-aliases in the set-point hole.
Shelton snapped an extended comeback, recovered and flashed a forehand winner on his second break to take the lead after 36 minutes.
Although the auger-aliasime is 80 percent effective, Shelton made him play eight of the 20 first-time Canadian cornerbacks.
The server maintained command throughout the second set until the eighth game. Auger-Aliassime screamed for a high forehand volley but Shelton dropped it, firing past the front of the break.

Shelton netted a volley to end the mini break quickly. Auger-Aliassime hit an ace. Then the American crashed down the court to his left knee while trying to change direction as the auger-aliassime went up 5-2. Shelton watched Gimpy for a few points but came back from 4-6 down to save the first point when his opponent promised a forehand spot with a pass.
At a glance, the auger-aliassime went into the center of the net on his third layup, but got the fourth point when Shelton sailed.

On the other side of the net, auger-aliassime exploded for 12 consecutive points and recovered from Uthando-30 down in the 11th game. Auger-Aliassime drew a series of early errors to hold 30 for 6-5.
Scoreboard pressure and sketchy skirt selection Fret Cost Shelton in the 12th game. It was as if he was trying to misstep his opponent who was playing his time ahead of the line ahead of Auger-AliasShime.
That strategy didn’t work well in the end. Shelton saved the first match point with a second wide gutsy and was denied the second match point with a wide ace break.
