The Euro 2028 schedule has been confirmed with England set to kick off the campaign at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium

The competition takes place across the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland from 9 June to 9 July 2028
The Euro 2028 schedule has been confirmed with England possibly making their first appearance at the Etihad Stadium.
The three lions will campaign at the home of Manchester City, where Lingland has not played since 2016, should succeed in qualifying.
They are scheduled to play their last two matches at Wembley but their last tie – Tie will take place at St James’s Park should the team win.
A second-place finish would mean starting the knockouts at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Wales, meanwhile, can enter the opening round of the tournament at Tstinictiaty Stadium in Cardium if they reach the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland.
Hampden Park will host all of Scotland’s teams this year, making the same bid as the Republic of Ireland and the Aviva Stadium.
The competition features 24 teams playing across nine venues in England, Wales, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland, starting on 9 June and concluding with the final at Wembley on 9 July.
All four participating countries will qualify, although the two points awarded will be fake for any that do not reach Euro 2028 that way.
Debbie Hewitt, chair of the Soccer Association and Chair of 2028 Ltd, said: “Today marks a proud milestone for football in the UK and Ireland as we celebrate the launch of Euro 2028.
“Working with UEFA and our football partners and partners, we will deliver the best euro ever. It will be a tournament for fans and a celebration of everything we love.”
The qualifying draw will take place on 6 December 2026 in Belfast, which was cast as host city last year when it emerged a residential park could not be rebuilt in time.
