Tiger Woods Watches Charlie Woods Win Championship

Since Tiger Woods’ recent surgery threw his return to pro golf into a frenzy, any sighting of the 15-time major champion is news. On Saturday, Wood was shown for one of the first times since his last performance.
While Woods’ appearance took place on the golf course alongside his son Charlie Woods, it was not the PNC tournament, where the two competitors have been on TV for several years.
Instead, it was Charlie’s High School State Championship, where the small wood matched the lowest score in the final round to help his team to the title.
Here’s what you need to know.

CHARLIE’s 68 matched the lowest score of the round, and he finished fourth in the individual tournament.

Charlie Woods head coach at Benjamin, Toby Harbeck, shared a strange anecdote following his team’s victory.

In the middle of the festivities at the mission Inn, Harbeck revealed it to him Post Palm Beach that he dreamed that Charlie would have a big final cycle.
Not only that, but he also entered and ran to Nordegren, Charlie’s mother that morning in that hotel told him about the dream.
“I had a dream. I left the hotel this morning at 20 minutes to 7:00, with Elin [Nordegren] he was standing by the bus. I looked at him and said, ‘I had a dream last night about Charlie playing today. It’ll be 68 or 67,’ and he looked at me and said, ‘I hope so, coach. ‘ And I said, ‘I’m telling you, it’s going to happen,'” Harbeck told Post Palm Beach.
Harbeck ended up right at no.
Tiger Woods’ Possible Comeback, Health Status
On October 11, Woods announced that he would undergo disc herniation surgery, the latest in a long series of surgeries on his back.
Woods was last seen competing on TV during the short-lived TGL STGR in early 2025. But in March, the shoulder announced that he had ruptured his left Achilles tendon. As a result, he missed the entire 2025 PGA Tour Sour season.
In 2024, Woods appeared in just five events, withdrawing or missing the cut in all but the majors, where he finished 60th.
Woods was first seen in public following the latest surgery in early November, when he participated in the Bridgestone Golf Video Ball.
Tiger hasn’t revealed when he plans to continue his pro golf career, and he’s given the opportunity to return home to get back into the swing of things. Woods often plays the PNC tournament alongside Charlie in December, and the pair lost last year’s event in the playoffs.
The 2025 PNC Championship takes place on December 18-21 this year, so if the wood is fully healed by then, he was able to return there.
He may choose to make his debut two weeks ago at the 1025 Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas, the tournament said.
Next Pencil Return Date is January 13, 2026
I’ll be there for the whole game! I look forward to seeing everyone on January 13th for our home Open Cell. And- @willlowergolfhands are my sticks!

Whether that means a tiger will be played or just a glimpse of the action yet to be seen.
Two possible dates for Tiger’s return are further down the schedule: The 2026 Genesis Vavitational, which is not affiliated, on February 19-22, and the 2026 Kings, which runs on April 9-12.
