Jessica Pegula replaces Emma RaduCanu for racquet at Rock Exos in Newark and Miami – Tennis now

US open finalist Jessica pegula It returns to the New York area with Racise on the Rock.
World No. Pegula has entered the 2021 US Open Emma RaduCanu At next month’s event at the rock show event. Ruducanu withdrew from the event due to injury.
The showcase event is set for Sunday, December 7th at 5:30 PM at NeakArk’s Prudential Center. It will be the first tennis event in the Prudential Center’s 18-year history.
This event is scheduled to feature two 10-TieBreaker paint patch matchups instead of a third set. US open and wimbledon finast Amanda Anisimova will play the 2024 open US openist pegula in the opening match, followed by a clash between the five Grand Slam Champion Carlos Alcaraz Dealing with the previous open temporary Frances Tiafoe.
Pegula’s addition means two of the world’s top women in the field.

“It’s always great to be on the court with Frances – we love competing against each other, and I can’t wait to put on a great show for the fans in Newark,” Alcaraz said. “To play again in the Metropolitan area with all the amazing fans, it’s something special.
“They bring such a unique energy, and they love tennis so much. I’m looking forward to December 7 at the Prudential Center, it’s going to be a special night of great tennis.”
The Miami Detentional to be held on December 8 will be the first tennis event at the home of the Miami Marlins, offering a unique and historic tennis tournament at the ballpark.
The event will feature four of the world’s top tennis players: Carlos Alcaraz looks at Brazil’s rising star João Fonseca Marking their first meeting ever there was a second show of Amanda Anisimova and Jessica Pegula. Anisimova was born in Freehold, NJ, while Pegula is a native. Both women now call Florida home.
Tribute to Althea Gibson
The event will also shine a spotlight on tennis legend and New Jersey Icon Althea Gibson, who broke barriers as the first African American to win a Grand Slam title. A longtime resident of East Orange, Gibson went on to win major acclaim for his music and became a powerful symbol of progress and development. Gibson’s influence continues to be felt locally. Newark’s Branch Brook Park is home to both the bronze courts and the Althea Gibnike Tennis Courts, a 20-court facility designed by Essex County to inspire the next generation of athletes.
In honor of his extraordinary legacy, each player participating in the ‘river in the rock’ You will receive a memorial plaque bearing Gibson’s name as a tribute to his lasting impact on the sport and the state he once called home.
