Andrew Novak has already posted a career best in 2025 – and he’s not done.
The 30-year-old man won his first tour title alongside Ben Griffin at the Zurich Classic, in addition to recording five top-10 finishes – one of which was a runner-up. Novak has banked more than $7.6 million in winnings and easily moved into the top 50 on the FedEx Cup points list. The pressure is not this week until the end of the job security matter, but now, with one lead led to the title at the weekend, he has the chance to get the first success of his career.
“I had a baby two weeks ago, I’m here coming out of the house and I’m happy to be here with those other guys fighting for their jobs,” Novak said after his round on Friday. “That’s a big advantage for me this week. I got a little bit of a ride out of it. I definitely want to win. It’s a local tournament so there’s more competition for me.”
