8 times you missed the formula 1 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix

The Las Vegas Grand Prix has been one of the most electrifying events on the Formula 1 Calendar, and 2025 was no different. The power of the team is also under the neon lights of the strip, and with all the steps on and off-track, las vegas has never failed to deliver the weekend jackpot.

There was plenty of drama on-track, as Max Verstappen came away victorious while the pair of Mclaren received a disqualification race, and the Mercedes Duo moved to the impressive podium. But that wasn’t the only news from this big grand prix weekend – so there are other magical moments to know about.

Mercedes Joy as PIN wins F1 Academy title

The F1 Academy took center stage over the weekend – and for good reason. It is not the first time that the season of the F1 Academy was held in the sin city, but the title is fought and went down on the other side of the fence, and the champion only took the last race on Saturday afternoon.

In the end, it was the PIN of the Mercedes doriane that took the 2025 crown over Ferrari’s Maya Weug. The French driver’s finish in Race 2 was enough to seal the deal after an emphatic victory the previous day. One of the standout moments of the entire weekend came after the checkered flag, as his and his Prema families poured into the pit lane to celebrate his incredible achievement.

Wearing a special edition of ‘P1n’ shirts, the team surrounded their new hero with Hugs, Cheers, and more than a few emotional moments. George Russell, Kimi Antonelli, and Toto Wolff were all there to congratulate him as well, turning down the pit lane and into the Silver Arrow sea with a smile. The PIN perhaps even breathed a sigh of relief in the garage – as Russell and Antonelli continued to defend the championship with a 2-3 finish that evening after the fourth and seventeenth start respectively.
