After meeting once in 2024, Daniil Medvevev and Alexander ZVeveva dominated their long-running rivalry in 2025 with three compelling chapters. In all the top three Sgunders – one interesting save match-Point Movel – Medvedev strengthened his grip on their lexus ATP Head2head series, extending his advantage to 14-8. Here, eCptour.com looks at their 2025 conflicts.

Medvedev’s run to Aveling Creding is the latest in a 15-month-long romp against an opponent that has defined many of his career’s defining moments. Their first meeting of the season at the Terra Woortmann open in Halle recorded the first time on grass in their nine competition, but it nevertheless happened as a microcosm of their long competition: smart, motivated, and stretched thin with a strong exchange.

Their competition was focused on Medvevevev’s Favoring two years ago, but in the end Zevev broke out by staying aggressive in the strong roles and refused to concede the game failed to work at 4-5 in the final set.
“Daniil is kind of my Kryptonite, I don’t like to play him,” said Zvereev after getting Medvedev from 2023.
