Multiple reports confirm that Manchester City have made Tijjani Reijnders their top target for the upcoming summer transfer window and are preparing a concrete move for the Milan star.
The Netherlands international has been one of the Rossoneriโs standout performers in an otherwise challenging season, scoring 15 goals in 51 appearances across all competitions.

His form has prompted Milan to extend his contract until 2030, but even that may not be enough to guarantee his future at San Siro.
Guardiola eyes Milanโs Reijnders as centrepiece of Manchester City rebuild
According to The Telegraph, Pep Guardiola has identified Reijnders as a key figure in his plans to reshape the City squad after a disappointing campaign. The Premier League champions are reportedly assessing a substantial offer to satisfy their managerโs request and lure the Dutchman to Manchester.
The Citizens are believed to be ready to table a bid in the region of โฌ70 millionโa fee that would mark Milanโs most expensive sale ever, surpassing Kakรกโs move to Real Madrid in 2009.
Cityโs interest was also confirmed by Matteo Moretto, who noted that Reijnders features on a shortlist of two or three profiles under evaluation by the English side. The club is said to be gauging the situation before launching a formal offer.

While Milan consider Reijnders theoretically untouchable, missing out on next seasonโs Champions League would weaken their position and could force them to consider selling one of their top assets if a major offer arrives.

Though the 26-year-old is understood to be happy at Milan, a move cannot be ruled out if a European heavyweight comes knocking.
Chelsea have also shown interest in recent months, but talks reportedly never advanced.
