Lazio have rejected an offer from Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal for left-back Nuno Tavares, who has been approached by a number of different clubs in recent days, Football Italia understands.
Al-Hilal, who are now under the guidance of Simone Inzaghi following his recent departure from Inter, are on the hunt for a new left-back and have been studying a number of options in Serie A.
The Saudi giants have offered €30m plus an enormous €20m-per-season contract to Milan and full-back Theo Hernandez, but that deal has not progressed and the pursuit is effectively over for now.

Roma’s Angelino has also been mentioned as an alternative option for Al-Hilal.

However, Football Italia can confirm that Al-Hilal have recently lodged an offer worth €30m, made up of €25m plus bonuses and add-ons for Nuno Tavares instead, which Lazio have since turned down.
As things stand, the Biancocelesti are unwilling to entertain offers for the former Arsenal full-back, who was nominated for Serie A defender of the year after his first season in Italy.
Al-Hilal are not the only club to offer Lazio a deal for Nuno Tavares over the last few days, but the Biancocelesti remain reluctant to negotiate.
