Italy international Pietro Comuzzo, who has been linked with moves to both Milan and Juventus over the course of the 2024-25 season, has put pen to paper on a new and improved, long-term contract extension with Fiorentina.ย
The 20-year-old, who was handed his first call-ups to the Italy national team squad by CT Luciano Spalletti earlier this season, has signed a contract extension that will run until the summer of 2029 with a club option for a further 12 months, until 2030.ย
Comuzzoโs previous deal had been due to expire in 2028. It is understood that he has also received a significant increase in wages after an impressive breakthrough season with Fiorentina in 2024-25.ย

Comuzzo has also been mentioned as a potential transfer target for both Milan and Juventus at various stages of the 2024-25 season. Both sides will look to add new defensive reinforcements to their ranks, with the Rossoneri particularly keen on adding more Italian players to their squad.ย
However, a new, long-term contract extension means that a move away from Fiorentina this summer is increasingly unlikely.ย
What Fiorentina said about Comuzzo

โACF Fiorentina announced that the footballer Pietro Comuzzo has renewed his contract, which binds him to the Viola club until 2029 with an option, in favour of Fiorentina, until 2030,โ a statement on the club website read.ย
