Italy international Riccardo Calafiori was among those reacting to Jorginhoโs Arsenal exit on social media.
Italian midfielder Jorginho, a Euro 2020 winner with the Azzurri, confirmed heโd leave Arsenal as a free agent on Tuesday.
โYou know, sometimes the season is more than just football. Itโs about moments. People. Growth,โ Jorginho said in a video published on Instagram.
โItโs about feeling part of something bigger than yourself. When I arrived at Arsenal, I wasnโt just joining a club. I was stepping into a family. A team full of hunger, passion, and purpose.
โI gave everything I had. Every day, every match. Not just for the results, but for this shirt and the fans. Your support meant everything, whether I was starting or on the bench. You made me feel valued and loved. Thatโs rare in football, and Iโll never forget it.
โNow itโs time to say goodbye, or maybe a โsee you soon.โ When a place feels like home, a farewell is never easy, but I leave my head held high and my heart full.
โTo my teammates, thank you for trusting me, for pushing me. To the coach, the staff and all the people behind the scenes. Thanks for the support on the pitch, off the pitch and for always being there for me with kindness and love. To the fans, thank you for signing my name and believing in me. Thank you, Arsenal.โ

Jorginhoโs compatriot Calafiori was among those reacting to the news and commented on Jorginhoโs social media post with three heart emojis.
Arsenal defender William Saliba wrote: โThank you for everything, my brother.โ
Jorginho spent two and a half seasons at Arsenal, scoring two goals in 79 appearances.
He has also netted five goals in 57 matches with the Azzurri. The 33-year-old is set to join Brazilian side Flamengo as a free agent.
