Juventus are currently leaning towards a decision to stick with current boss Igor Tudor on a permanent basis following a meeting between the coach and new Bianconeri general manager Damien Comolli on Wednesday, reports confirm.ย
Juventus are currently assessing their managerial options after missing out on a deal for former head coach and Napoli Scudetto-winner Antonio Conte. Gian Piero Gasperini, who had also been assessed by the Old Lady, will now join Roma from Atalanta.ย
With Conte and Gasperini out of the picture, Juventus are now left looking at their โalternativeโ options, among which is Tudor, who was appointed head coach on an initial interim contract after Thiago Mottaโs dismissal in March.ย
Tudorโs contract was automatically extended until the summer of 2026 after Juventus achieved qualification to next seasonโs Champions League, but the club are still able to terminate that agreement by paying a โpenalty feeโ.ย

Where Juventus and Tudor stand after Comolli talksย
Tudor and Comolli sat down for a meeting on Wednesday, following a phone call between the head coach and John Elkann earlier in the week.ย
According to reports from IlBianconero.com, the meeting was overwhelmingly positive, and Juventus are now likely to stick with Tudor heading into the 2025-26 campaign.ย

Wednesdayโs update claims that if Tudor is to be given the job on a more permanent basis, he is likely to be handed a contract extension, beyond the current expiry date of June 2026.ย
The Bianconeri will also look to improve the coaching staff if Tudor is confirmed as the head coach for 2025-26, as the Croatian only brought a goalkeeper coach, Tomislav Rogic, and an assistant coach, Ivan Javorcic, with him at the time of his original appointment.
