As expected, Mascherano confirmed that midfielder Yannick Bright will miss the upcoming match after leaving early against Philadelphia. “We lose a lot of our physical presence without him,” said the coach. “He’s key for our defensive structure. We hope the injury is minor and he can return soon.”
Baltasar Rodríguez, who debuted recently against San Jose and provided an assist before being subbed off, is still under medical observation. “He’s improving but not fully ready. If he continues progressing, we might arrange a friendly to get him back to game rhythm.”
