Reports in France claim that Juventus and Nottingham Forest tried to hijack Inter’s deal for Olympique Marseille man Luis Henrique, but were too late.
The right-sided attacking winger had been in negotiations for a move to San Siro for several months and that early groundwork proved decisive.
A basic agreement was worked out worth circa €25m including various performance-related bonuses, with the aim to get him in time for the Club World Cup in the USA from June.
Luis Henrique stood by Inter promise

Juventus and Nottingham Forest tried to pounce and make their own fresh proposals over the last couple of weeks, claim Sport.fr and Sempre Inter, but they were too late to make a dent in the deal.
Luis Henrique has already promised himself to Inter and is looking forward to the move to Serie A.
He impressed at Olympique Marseille this season, scoring nine goals and providing 10 assists in 35 games between Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France.
