Sky Sport Italia reports that Lazio want Maurizio Sarri’s return and have offered their former coach a €2.8m-a-year deal until 2027.
Lazio are pushing for Sarri’s return to their bench and have already made an offer to their former boss, according to Sky Sport Italia.
The Tuscan tactician resigned as Lazio’s coach in March 2024 and has been without a club since.
How much have Lazio offered for Sarri’s return?

Sarri, a 2020 Serie A winner with Juventus, later explained he had left Lazio last year mostly for personal reasons.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Lazio have now offered Sarri a €2.8m-a-year contract until 2027.
The Italian broadcasters claim that talks between the two parties are ‘ongoing’ with Lazio pushing to finalise the deal.
Lazio replaced Sarri with Igor Tudor last season, but the Croat didn’t remain at the helm for the 2024-25 campaign, prompting the Biancocelesti to hire Marco Baroni.
The latter collected excellent results in the first part of the season, but was ultimately eliminated from the Europa League quarter-finals and finished the Serie A campaign outside a European placement.
Baroni is under contract until 2026, but the Biancocelesti are expected to terminate the agreement with their coach in the coming days.
