Cristiano Ronaldo made headlines once again with the Portugal national team—but this time, the spotlight was on his son. Cristiano Jr., who recently made his debut with the Portugal U-15 squad, has now scored his first two official goals for his country.

In the final of the Vlatko Markovic International Tournament (U-15 category), Cristiano Jr. started for Portugal against Croatia. In the 13th minute, he latched onto a through ball from a teammate and fired a stunning left-footed strike that ricocheted off the crossbar and into the net, opening the scoring for Portugal.

Following the goal, the 14-year-old forward celebrated in iconic fashion—recreating his father’s famous “Siu” celebration with his teammates. Croatia equalized in the 25th minute through Ivan Caleta, but Cristiano Jr. wasn’t done.

Just after the start of the second half, in the 43rd minute, he completed his brace by heading home a precise cross from the right wing, restoring Portugal’s lead. Rio Joka got the score 2-2 in the 59th minute, but Rafael Cabral scored the winning goal for Portugal in the 78th.

Portugal was one of the dominant teams throughout the tournament, finishing atop Group B ahead of Japan, Greece, and England, with two wins and one draw—earning their place in the final against Croatia. With the 2-3 final result, Cristiano Jr. has already earned his first medal with the youth national team.

The Portugal U-15 squad list turned heads earlier this month when fans noticed the inclusion of Cristiano Jr. In the opening match against Japan, the young forward came on as a substitute in the 53rd minute, marking his debut with the national team.

His debut marked a proud moment for the Ronaldo family. Cristiano himself took to social media to celebrate, writing:. “Congratulations on your debut with Portugal national team, son. So proud of you.”
