The managerial merry-go-round is in full swing, as after he left Lazio, Marco Baroni is now set for a meeting with Torino to replace Paolo Vanoli.
It was announced today that Maurizio Sarri has made his return to the Stadio Olimpico, having originally resigned in March 2024.
Baroni parted company with the club by mutual consent and is now ready for his next adventure in Serie A.
That should not be hard to find, as Torino have stepped up with an approach and are expected to meet with the ex-Verona coach by Wednesday afternoon.
Torino want Baroni after split with Vanoli finalised
Before they can do that, it is important to first inform Vanoli that he will not be continuing on with the Granata beyond the end of this season.
The 52-year-old took over last summer and oversaw 10 Serie A victories, 14 draws and 14 defeats, securing 11th place.
Baroni is the absolute favourite for Toro and the wheels are in motion to take him to the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.
